Cookie Policy.

For how personal data is handled more broadly, see the Privacy Notice. How this website uses cookies and similar technologies, in line with the EU ePrivacy rules and the GDPR. Short version: nothing non-essential runs before you agree, rejecting is as easy as accepting, and you can change your mind at any time.

What cookies are

Cookies are small files a website stores on your device; similar technologies such as local storage do the same job. Some are needed for a site to function at all. Others measure usage or support marketing, and under EU law those may only be set with your prior consent.

How consent works on this site

On your first visit a banner offers three equal choices: accept all, reject all, or manage preferences by category. No non-essential cookie is set before you decide, and no box is pre-ticked. Your choice is stored with a timestamp for up to 12 months, after which we ask again. You can reopen the preferences at any time using the Cookie settings link in the footer, and withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it.

If you browse with JavaScript disabled, the banner does not appear because nothing that would need consent can run: the site remains fully functional and cookie-free apart from nothing at all.

The cookies and storage we use

NAME CATEGORY DURATION PURPOSE
kyck_consent_v1Strictly necessary12 monthsStores your cookie consent choice, its timestamp and version, in local storage. Exempt from consent because it exists to record consent itself.
(none yet)Analyticsn/aNo analytics cookies are currently set. If we introduce an analytics tool, it will load only for visitors who have granted the Analytics category, and this table will be updated first.
(none yet)Marketingn/aNo marketing cookies are currently set. The Marketing category exists so any future addition remains under your control, and this table will be updated first.

Managing cookies yourself

Beyond our settings, every browser lets you view, block and delete cookies and site data. Deleting this site's data also deletes your stored consent choice, so the banner will simply ask again on your next visit.
