KYCK in Abu Dhabi: closer to the desks we screen for

A base in Masdar City, Abu Dhabi, puts the team in the same working day as most of our maritime and commodities customers.

Why the Gulf

Most of the counterparties our customers screen are traded, chartered or financed from the Gulf. Commodity houses, ship managers and corporate service providers in Abu Dhabi and Dubai run their compliance during Gulf hours, and a support call that lands at the end of a European afternoon lands in the middle of their day. Being in the same working day is a practical advantage, not a symbolic one.

KYCK Limited is licensed in Masdar City Free Zone, Abu Dhabi, and operates from the Incubator Building there. The company was founded by three industry veterans with more than 65 years of combined legal, risk and technology experience; more on the team on the About page.

What the base does

Onboarding, customer success and screening support are run from Abu Dhabi during Gulf business hours, which means a new workspace can be live within a day and a screening question is answered the same morning. It also puts the team within reach of the free zones and regulators our customers deal with, from the DMCC and ADGM ecosystems to the UAE goAML reporting regime covered in our goAML registration guide.

Where the data stays

The office location does not change where customer data lives. KYCK hosts customer data in the European Union; personnel access it from Abu Dhabi under the safeguards described in the Privacy Notice. Customers with EU obligations keep an EU-hosted file; customers in the Gulf get a team in their own time zone.
